Old, all-glass boat with spinnaker launcher and no composite core, (as far as I can tell). Will never handle substantial rig tension. Setup for mid-boom sheeting with traveler. Hull was stripped of all hardware a few years back, with the intent to refit for fun & functional recreational sailing and local beer cans. Alas, life happened and now with work and a newborn, I’ve realized that it’s time to move on. It’s my hope someone else will pickup where I left off. See below:
old style Proctor D mast, setup for original spec. smaller kite, includes 7×19 trap wires, handles and 1×19 shrouds, one of the spreaders is broken;
boom with blocks for sheet, includes gooseneck fitting and outhaul, I have the old lever vang that may be of use to someone;
a whisker pole that looks to be a converted for use as a spinnaker pole, never flew the kite not sure if it’s up to the task;
include an “antique” main, jib and a new’ish original spec. spinnaker;
funky super-old-school rudder and standard centerboard included.
So, she is what she is. Motivated to stop paying storage on the boat and trailer. If there’s no interest, then she’ll likely end up in pieces in the back of my truck on the way to the dump, having suffered a chainsaw fate.
So in summary, you’d be acquiring a mostly hardware stripped hull (with title), functional but not ideal roadworthy trailer (with title), rudder, centerboard, mast, boom, spinnaker pole and sails that were likely built during the Carter or Reagan administration, (excepting the spinnaker, G.W. Bush). Willing to accept any and all offers, so please let me know if you have any interest or questions. Photos of boat, trailer, and spars to follow. Thanks for looking.
